Chuck with Powers [spoilers]

After finding out Chuck knows all these crazy abilities from the intersect, I was going "AWESOME!" at first. But now that I've got time to think about it, I'm not sure if it's that great.

Initially, the selling point of Chuck is that he is an every day dork, who accidentally has all of the government's secrets inside of his head. He was smart before, and now he can top that off with aLOT of information with his head. However, he's all brains and no brawns, so Casey and Sarah has to be sent in to protect him.

Now that he has all these abilities, the humor that is the awkward Chuck might slowly fade. Yes, he'll still be socially awkward, but he can kick bad guy's ass, which kind of render Casey and Sarah useless. Also, Chuck seems to be able to draw amazing random abilities from the Intersect at random times, such as playing a crazy guitar solo. That kind of make him not the nerd we all have grown to love... so now, I'm not so sure how I feel about Chuck's new abilities.

I totally agree with you there but we learn that the new Intersect (Version 2.0) doesn't always work on command. Chuck can't say "Tell me how to do karate" so that makes him more vulnerable and still needs Casey and Sarah.
He is still the crazy dork except undercover so yeah the dorkiness is there but his life will get alot more difficult

Enjoy the new Season yall
