As if Laura Vandervoort wasn't already the object of many a geek's affection ... On top of her sci-fi-tastic turn on 'V,' she'll probably also be returning to 'Smallville' as Supergirl before the series ends, according to our friends at IGN TV. And now her 'V' character Lisa is becoming a woman and lusting after human guys every week on TV (Tuesdays, 9PM ET on ABC).
Stop drooling. Seriously. It's embarrassing.
Vandervoort laughs at the mention of her character maturing, but gets serious when talking 'V.' She gave me the scoop on Lisa's growing love for Tyler, her newfound bond with his mom Erica (Elizabeth Mitchell), having grandma around (original 'V' castmember Jane Badler) and continuing to deceive mom Anna (Morena Baccarin).
She also dished a bit about the great lineup of guest stars coming to play -- including 'Shield' alum Jay Karnes, perennial baddie Oded Fehr and another alum of the original 'V,' Marc Singer -- and who makes her laugh when the cameras stop rolling.
