'NCIS' Sets New Record With 22.7 Million Viewers

NCIS hit another series high in total viewers, but some continued to struggle.

The veteran CBS procedural crushed its competition drawing a record-setting 22.7 million viewers, up from its previous high of 22 million viewers in January, and also earned its best 18-49 rating since October 2009 (4.6). Along with the help of NCIS: Los Angeles(17.8 million, 3.8) and The Good Wife (12.1 million, 2.2), CBS took the easy victory in total viewers (17.5 million) and the key demo (3.5).

NBC placed second with a two-hour Biggest Loser: Couples (9.2 million, 3.3) and a new Parenthood(6.2 million, 2.2), both up from their last originals. Competitors Parenthood and The Good Wife tied for first place in the demo at 10 p.m. Read More...
