'True Blood' comics completes collection

Season 4 of "True Blood" doesn't start until the summer, but if you're looking to sink your teeth - couldn't be helped - into something Bon Temps-related sooner than that, be sure to head to your nearest bookstore to pick up "True Blood: All Together Now" on Feb. 15. The hardcover comic ($24.99) is a compilation of all six issues of the first installment of the "True Blood" comics, which acts as a companion plotline to the TV series. In this comp, Sookie and friends find themselves dealing with a bad old monster. If you like what you see/read, there's good news: the second comic series launches on Feb. 23, featuring a new six-issue story arc written by Michael McMillan (fans will recognize him from his stint as Fellowship of the Sun leader Reverend Steve Newlin) and Marc Andreyko. (Each issue is $3.99, see the first issue's cover below.)This time around, vampy Jessica goes berserk after drinking contaminated Tru Blood and it's up to Sookie, Bill et al to figure out who - or what - is responsible for that bad, bad blood. Hoyt, Terry, Arlene and Steve Newlin will be making their pen-and-ink debut in this series of the comics.
