Spartacus: Gods of the Arena - "Beneath the Mask" Review

Word of the House of Batiatus' more exotic pleasures continue to spread and once again Lucretia is put in the awkward position of hosting sexual entertainment in hopes of securing a place in the games at the new arena. This time however, things turn ugly and her life is changed forever. We're really starting to see things fall a part for Lucretia. When we were first introduced to her just three episodes prior, she was a fairly supportive wife with a sense of honor and custom about her. Not perfect by any means, but she knew her place and wanted to protect her station. In "Beneath the Mask" we finally get to see what sparked that transformation, and surprisingly, feel genuine sympathy for someone who we come to know as deceitful.  Read More...
