Well, that was one of the strangest 'Archer' outings of all time, and this is a show that depicts babies drinking cocktails and getting tattoos.
A cancer-stricken Archer going into full vengeance mode? That was weird, but of course, when it comes to 'Archer,' weird is not a bad thing at all.
I was pretty surprised that 'Archer' continued the cancer plot -- I thought this was one of those shows that was determined to hit the reset button each week. Not that the characters don't occasionally recall past events, but 'Placebo Effect' was very strongly tied to 'Stage Two,' in an almost serialized fashion.
But I think it's good that the show is committed to mixing things up. There's a chance we could get too used to seeing a perfectly fit Archer kick the butts of international thugs and terrorists.
