The Hills: Mr. and Mrs. Pratt - A Sea of Tears, Patron, and Drunken Vows

Episode Specific SPOILERS

Whitney finally gets the call about the Diane von Furstenberg gig, and cameras just happen to be there to record the moment. She's moving to New York and reminds us for the hundredth time that she's going for the job, not the boy. If you have to repeat something relentlessly, it's probably you who needs convincing.

During the goodbye party for Whit, we catch a glimpse of her parents, teary-eyed and proud. Her dad says, "You'll come back every weekend and see us?" And, making an attempt at coolness that goes awry, he punctuates his sweet and hopeful sentiment with: "Yo, yo."

Because a goodbye party and a goodbye convo at work were not enough ...more

Love this review - you gave me lots of good chuckles there describing Spencer and also the ridiculousness of the drunken Speidi wedding!
I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one confused about the timing of the wedding. First, when it was reported in gossip news, it was done over Thanksgiving weekend. So was what took place with the others like Whitney's going away party all over Thanksgiving day weekend, just we didn't see people go home of they did?
And also the whole acting as if they were running off to get drunk married right then was odd... so either they slept for a while, got up and got married hungover, and we saw them talking about it right after, or... they skipped a day, got married and played this little game like they were all camera-shy and wanted their special moments to be away from the MTV cameras, then got drunk and hungover all over again... very strange any way about it!
That was the most uncomfortable I've ever felt watching a reality show and I have no clue how Heidi can/did justify getting married... can't wait to see if anything interesting unfolds in the finale!

Thanks, Kendra! Yeah, those two are a shady pair. The preview of next week's episode looks explosive. Heidi's mom puts in her 2 cents and Heidi and Lauren meet face to face. MTV is promoting it like a wrestling match or something.

Speaking of uncomfortable. It was really tough to watch Speidi being so affectionate (ick!). They've never showed them like that on camera before and now I know why! It almost didn't seem genuine...just gross.
