Grey's Anatomy "Rise Up" ~ Death and lesbians

They are seriously milking the Denny debacle storyline. Are we to believe that his ghost is actually haunting the halls of Seattle Grace? Or is Izzy just a kook? Aside from that, Hahn left the show. I would not have realized that was her official exit if not for the news going viral on the web. Do you think she's gone because ABC is uncomfortable with lesbians? Or do you think her character was at its creative end? TheDopeBox TV Blog

I know what you mean! I wouldn't have thought that that was the end of her as a character. It was very undramatic. Very down played. Just an argument between her and Callie. This may point to the execs hoping to keep it quiet.
Personally I didn't like her character and am glad to see the back of her. However if they have pushed her out because her character is lesbian and its too much for them to handle. That is scandalous. In this day in age where we are supposed to be more open tolerant and accepting. Well its a bit of a disgrace!

Really?? she goes off JUST like that?? ok, she was a jerky one, nobody liked her...but the character was just growing now, blocking it like this looks pointless...Really hoping it's not due to homophobia..this would be not only scandalous..but so stupid...oh come on, SERIOUSLY???...O_O...

I like the character, not the gay part, but i liked Erica character out side of that. I liked the tough skin. After seeing Burke go, i though that Erica brought that side serious side back into the show. Why did the writers even try this kind of relationship, messed up a character and now have to axe it, that is ridiculous. They are concentrating too much on the actual personal lives of these characters, it use to be about how the medicine impacted the characters personal lives not how their personal lives affect the medicine. Right now, I don't like the way Christina's character is going along, way to soft, I like it went we use to see this tough girl with impactful hints of emotion. Now she is almost just like Meridith, all soft. But with Izzie, i like how she is still the same, we have seen her character grown and the roller coaster along the way. I like that Meridith and Derek are growing as well. So much more can be done with Lexie tho, i like her....What ever happen to Izzie and George friendship, I liked that. Please don't mess Lexie up. What is Sloan place tho, where is he going, that character seriously needs direction. Callie, lets see where they take her, to me she is one of the most fun characters to watch because it is easy to connect with her but so far they have not used that efficiently enough. Bailey, now she stands out, love Bailey. The Chief, i kinda like the tough skin but i like it better when he use to be the one to gel things more.............Concluding, where is Burke?
