Sladen unlikely to return to 'Doctor Who'

Awesome, so her "swansong" is an episode where she does absolutely nothing.

haha - it's true, she didn't do all that much - but to be fair, with so many guest stars in those two episodes, there never was much promise that she would do much.
Also, her character, by nature, is very passive. No guns. No fighting. She did get Mickey and Jackie out of the holding cell to avoid getting vaporized. And the fact that she gave that device to Jack to blow up the station was getting pretty extreme for Sarah Jane.
But I agree - I would like to see a tougher Sarah Jane, but that isn't likely to happen - guess that's why she's starring in a spin-off aimed at kids. :P
