9th Doctor trumps all

The 9th Doctor was THEEEE BEST! Serious, Stern and such a Bad A**. I was thoroughly upset when he left after one season. David was passable, even grew on me a little, but no one will have my heart like the 9th Doctor.

This 11th Doctor has huge shoes to fill. His new sidekick looks too delicate. I want someone with character, not just a pretty face.

Completely wrong, the 9th Doctor was the passable one, David came in and trumped Cristopher Ecklesons performance with extreme kicks and punches.

Plz i like the fact that no one even gave this thread any acknowledgement with a thumbs up I like (not even the poster). Lets be serious the series will suffer when Tennant leaves end of story. To tell you the truth I probably wont even watch, as i have said before and will say again it is all about the characters for me and I personally like tennant, piper, and freema. To make the show more interesting they should bring back the doctor's daughter, that would be fun.

The 9th was the best; Eccleston was the only Doctor with a Northern accent and wasn't the traditional character which for a reboot is prefect. He challenged the limits of the Doctor's persona which is what the show is all about. Which is very similar to the colonies' James Bond or Batman, we want so very key features that are a most but we want an increase of depth in character. With Eccleston's short run and untimely departure happened to be the first time I longed for more from one Doctor, in showbiz you always want to leave them wanting more.
Now this isn't to say that Tennant's portrayal of the 10th Doctor wasn't one of the best performances ever for the role, because frankly it was one of the best 3 Doctors in my opinion. However, he was to accessible to everyone which takes away from the loneliness and intrigue that the Doctor has.
