Demi Lovato leaves Disney's 'Sonny With a Chance' with 'So Random' in its place


"Sonny With a Chance" is no more. The Disney series, which took a blow when star Demi Lovato entered an in-patient treatment program for "physical and emotional issues," is switching gears now that the star has decided not to return. "I don't think going back to 'Sonny' would be healthy for my recovery," Lovato tells People. "Being in front of a camera would make me nervous."Instead, the 18-year-old will focus on her singing career. "It made sense for me to go ahead and leave the show to focus on my music," she continues.
