‘Friday Night Lights’: Season 5, Episode 2, ‘On the Outside Looking In’: TV Recap

Awwwhh, the East Dillon Lions are getting all full of attitude.

They’re the Rodney Dangerfield of football. From the first moment, you know there’s going to be a knockdown of Coach Eric Taylor. Everyone is just way too happy and that can’t be good.

Tami Taylor is all up in Epyck’s face. Epyck is this season’s rebel with a cause, and Tami is about to go Bibbity Boppity Boo on her criminal deviant life. Vince, the quarterback, is getting all sorts of interest from colleges, and his scene telling his mom about his way out is one of the best moments in a while.
