omg...they totally did a "one tree hill"

they really did it...and i think it's a huge step to jump 5 years in time...

i actually had forgotten about the rumors referring to such a finale and was surprised about the cut.

it's sad that they're getting rid of so many characters and i can't and won't believe that susan and mike aren't together anymore...they went through all these desasters and now it's just over...i bet everything comes different than it seems...

anyway...they will have to do a hell of a job to make these new storylines work!

and the "queer as folk" guy kissing susan...no no no...not after she named her kid maynard for mike!

omg...i'm still shocked!

Ha, they totally did. I didn't know about it, and I watched it and I was like "WHAT?? Is it over??" because they were all really lame caricatures, so I thought it must just be the end of the show. I will miss the Scavo kids, and also I don't see how a frumpy Gaby with fat kids is going to work . . .

Yeah, i was very surprised at the end of season 4, but most of all, confused. I wanna know what happened to Mike and Susan, because she kissed some other guy at the end of last series. It's a shame, I really liked Mike.

Yeah...I'm looking forward to this 5 year jump ahead! It's def going to make for some interesting twists and turns in the plotline. I made sure to get caught up on the last four seasons so that I could be prepared ( Yay season 5!

Would like to point out that One Tree Hill was not the first one o do a jump in time, Dawson's Creek did it first with the last episodes!

I believe Marc Cherry actually got the idea from Lost where a lot of the show is flashbacks (awesome show) and helps build the story line and also keeps you guessing. I would also like to say that I think it works a lot better on this show than 'One Tree Hill'. As in the case with Dawson's Creek and One Tree Hill, the characters were so much older than what they played so they had to flash forward to keep it believable. I think this season will be a lot better than the last two, but it will be hard to beat Season 1. As a romantic, I really hope that Mike and Susan get back together which I'm sure will happen in the season finale or something. I'm also excited about the "story" with the new person in the neighborhood (Edie's husband).
