Frankly, I don't even know why I started watching this show. It neither sounded, nor looked interesting. However, what did keep me hanging on, although somewhat reluctantly, was Ty Collins. Now that he is no more, I have become aware of the rest and today I wasn't too disappointed, surprisingly.
That said, I am obliged to hate on at least one person. Debbie Wilson. Apologies, but her acting is so utterly horrific, she practically has F A K E spelt out on her forehead. Secretly, I'm hoping her husband will fall for his son's mother just to get her off the show, (if the show continues, that is). I also have to mention Dixon, and Annie who are both so evidently sweet, that I am personally prohibiting myself from being too harsh. OK. So, I'll keep to saying that they need to clean up their act(ing) - maybe some more practice? I haven't a clue, there's just something missing, they're blatant amateurs.
Naomi and Adriana have THE best story lines, possibly because they are also THE best actresses in the spin-off. My analogy is, that the magnitude of today's episode came from its rotation around these two characters. I hope we don't lose one of them. Maybe, maybe not. Additionally, kudos to Silver and Ryan the teacher, they're also shining to some extent. Though I haven't yet warmed up to the young teacher being so pivotal, the undercover student is quite intriguing - I can see the chemistry between the two already! Ooh.
It's all good, or rather better than before. Still, I'm not sure there's been a peak yet - alls staying kind of average, which is never a good sign. Perhaps it'll keep on the rise. It's kind of growing on me, therefore I wouldn't like it much if it were cancelled.
Yikes! I don't believe I just said that...
