Last week Warner Brothers and YouTube channel, Machinima, gave fans their fourth helping of Mortal Kombat: Legacy, a 9-part web series designed to relaunch the Kombat universe while promoting the recently released video game, simply titled Mortal Kombat. Each chapter (sometimes broken into two parts) paints a standalone story for certain characters in the game, told in a similar vein of other serialized anthologies, such as Batman: Gotham Knight or The Animatrix.
