Supernatural Series’ LOST GIRL Coming to Syfy

Hit Canadian supernatural series LOST GIRL is finally coming to the US as Syfy has picked it up.

For those of you who haven’t had a chance to see the show, Lost Girl tells the story of Bo (Anna Silk) a supernatural being who has the power to suck people’s energy out of them. She is paired with a smart and sassy yet powerless grifter Kenzi and uses her power to help people in a world where the humans and the supernaturals collide.

It will be interesting to see how Syfy will air these episodes as the original version has a few steamy sex scenes and explicit language. So hoping for them to boldly go where no network has gone before.

The show has a solid following and is currently filming its second season. Syfy ordered two seasons of the show from from Prodigy Pictures

Personal Take: If it is a hit on Syfy (and believe me, they need one), hopefully it will usher a new age of edgy, dark shows to fill the gap left by the cancelled syfy shows. Lost Girl will surely pair nicely with a show like Being Human.
