House: "After Hours" Review

I've been critical of House this season for botching the development of an interesting character (Martha Masters), for turning the House/Cuddy relationship into a frustrating mess and for generally meandering through a directionless season. However, I also have to heap praise on the show when they deserve it, and this week's episode certainly did. "After Hours" paid off three running sub-plots from this season and certainly offered up convincing reasons why you shouldn't lie or break the law. It also featured the most intense scene of the entire season and followed it up with another in which a main character could legitimately have been murdered. House's best days may be behind it, but this episode proved that you don't last seven seasons on prime-time by accident.  Read More...
