The Walking Dead: Casting for Three Characters

In casting moves that ought to be familiar for readers of the graphic novels, The Walking Dead will add a trio of new characters on season two.

All will be related to the survivors' arrival at Hershel’s Farm and are described by AMC as follows:

1. Hershel: A older veterinarian.
2. Maggie: Hershel's daughter, Maggie, possesses made horseback-riding ability.
3. Otis: Middle-aged ranch foreman with a sensitive side.

These individuals will join Michonne as new additions to The Walking Dead when it returns, hopefully in late 2011.
