Ratings: Miami Heat beat Dallas Mavericks, and ABC's competition

Fast affiliate ratings for Sunday, May 22, 2011.Note: Because ABC aired Game 3 of the 2011 NBA Finals live in all timezones, these fast affiliate ratings are skewed.Regardless of the live event ratings issues, though, one thing is clear: ABC easily won the night with its broadcast of the Heat/Mavericks game. Up against mostly reruns and news shows, the game slam-dunked the competition.Overall, ABC averaged 11.6 million viewers and scored a 7.0 rating/12 share in households.CBS  followed with 6.4 million and a 4.1/7 share, with NBC in third (4.2 million, 2.7/5) and FOX (3.2 million, 1.3/3) in fourth. ABC won the18-49 demo, with a 4.6, followed by FOX (1.5), and a tie between NBC and CBS (1.0).
