SWITCHED AT BIRTH “American Gothic” Season 1 Episode 2 - So far, so good. SWITCHED AT BIRTH continues the momentum from the first episode. Tonight’s episode “American Gothic” explores some of the general issues that were introduced last week, and delves into more of the specifics.

Toby: “It’s kind of like hanging out with grampa.” The constant, circular moving shot at the breakfast table was a dizzying but perfect way to embody what Daphne was feeling – confused, fascinated, and overwhelmed by a group of fast-talking strangers. Another memorable scene was when Kathryn says she hates Regina, and Bay replies “If you hate her, you kind of hate me, too.” They were both stung by the comment and its meaning. Read More...
