Cars 2 Review

Look, if there were ever any Pixar film characters that I didn't really want to revisit it was the Cars gang. While the concept of the original 2006 film was unique, the story itself meandered, dragged and fell flat for me. Also, most adult brains begin to hyper-analyze the somewhat off-putting "world of living cars." I'm not a five-year-old boy (a.k.a. "The Torchbearers" of the entire Cars franchise) so I start wondering about things like, "Why do the cars have doors with passengers seats?" "How do baby cars grow up and how do the cars choose which cars get made?" So on and so on. ButCars 2 benefits from cherry-picking the best elements of the first movie and switching genres completely by taking Lightning andMater out of Radiator Springs and dropping them into the middle of a fast-paced, dynamic spy flick.  Read More...
