It's been a while since we've seen Liv Tyler on the big screen, so we were happy to catch up with the actress recently for a chat about her role in the Matthew Chapman movie, "The Ledge," a romance, drama and thriller all packed into one, where—you guessed it—someone stands on a ledge (we'll stop there so we don't spoil the movie).
During the course of the interview, talk eventually turned to our favorite topic—us! (Just kidding...sort of.) More specifically, we asked Liv to clarify an anecdote we'd heard about that time she appeared on "MTV Beach" as a teen alongside designer Marc Jacobs. "It's so funny, I didn't even remember," she said of her appearance on the show. It wasn't until she caught up with Marc at the CFDA Fashion Awards that she looked back on her MTV debut.
"He was a new designer at the time and I was a young model in New York," she said. "I do remember the day really well. It was like everyone in their bikinis around the pool and dancing. I don't want to see it, is the thing! God, MTV has changed so much."
