True Blood: "If You Love Me, Why Am I Dyin'?" Review

Note: Full spoilers for the episode follow. 

"Eric, I am not in the mood," Sookie sighed at the beginning of the seemingly inexplicably-named episode, "If You Love Me, Why Am I Dyin'?" (True Blood eps are always named after songs featured in the ep). And so begins the trials of "puppy dog" Eric Northman. Yes, he's still got fangs, but thanks to witch-induced amnesia he's also aggressively polite, apologetic and ticklish. And so while nothing really happened in this episode, the main draw here was the big personality shift in our usually prickly Sheriff, setting things up for his inevitable coupling with Sookie. It's not going to happen right away though. There's still a bunch of doting that needs to be done.
