Amazing Spider-Man Trailer Hits The Web

So after last week's costume pics arrived online, we've been spoilt by another dose of The Amazing Spider-man goodness – namely this almost-certainly-leaked (but decent quality) trailer we have for you.

In it, you'll notice a distinct change of tone compared to Sam Raimi's previous adaptation of the Marvel fan favourite, feeling almost like an '80s horror film rather than a cuddly, creepy-crawly-based superhero adventure.

There's the now almost obligatory Inception-like "BRAAAHM" noises here and there, rapid fades to black, and a good couple of shots of the lovely Emma Stone and the slightly-less-lovely Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors (but not, alas, as The Lizard).

It all seems pretty encouraging stuff until the ending  a first person sequence where we see the world from Garfield's Spidey's perspective, leaping from building to building before jumping onto a big shiny skyscraper.  Read More...
