'Prison Break' Star Lands 'House' Role

The eighth season of House doesn’t begin for another month and already it’s ramping up its slate of guest stars.

Former Prison Break star Wentworth Miller has booked an episode on the veteran Fox medical series, creator David Shoretold The Hollywood Reporter at the Fox fall premiere party. Miller last appeared on the small screen with a guest role on NBC’s Law & Order: SVU in a 2009 episode and the Prison Break telepic The Final Break.

Miller’s appearance won’t be House’s only challenge in the new season, which begins Monday, Oct. 3 at 9 p.m. on Fox. Shore says "the cases" will give the doctor a run for his money, who also said that the departure of Lisa Edelstein was one reason why the producers "decided to have the time passage [in the season opener]. The world outside of House has settled into its own environment and it’s completely different in so many ways, including the fact that Lisa’s not there. House has to adapt." Read More...
