Charlie is dead. Long live Charlie!

A day after the real Charlie Sheen offered a too-late, too-little apology at the Emmy Awards (a standing ovation to that? really?), "Two and a Half Men" producer Chuck Lorre painted the character Charlie as a poor, slutty, drug addict who will be missed by no one on the show.

The ninth season of "Two and a Half Men" brings on Ashton Kutcher with Charlie’s funeral, where no one seems to be mourning much. The ex-goddesses announce the diseases he’s shared (apparently he had quite the host of venereal diseases,) his mother boasts about listing his open house.
