After waiting what feels like forever, THE X FACTOR has finally landed in the US. Similar to American Idol, we started with auditions, but the difference here is that the audition actually takes place in front of a packed auditorium, talk about nerves!!!
So we start off in Los Angeles and we get a peek at former judge Cheryl Cole before she got the boot. I gotta say I love her accent, I know it was an issue in letting her go, but I’m a sucker for them, so I might be biased.
On to the auditions.
While there is a feeling of familiarity with the format, there are also quite a few changes. For one the auditioners get music accompanying them during their audition, which last a little longer than we are used to. Turns out that’s not really a bad thing because it limits the number of bad auditions we are exposed to.
As to my favorites for this round, there is only one memorable person for me and that’s Stacy Francis, who not only blew me away, but the judges and everyone in the audience as well. She was pretty great, so I’ll be looking out for her in the competition. Read More...
