TV Ratings: 'X Factor' holds, 'Charlie's Angels' off to modest start

Fast National ratings for Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011Fall programming continued to roll out last night, making for a rerun-free Thursday that included four series premieres. Most notably, however, is the second night of FOX's "The X Factor," which performed almost the same as its Wednesday outing. ABC's "Charlie's Angels" reboot was greeted with modest ratings, falling short of the network's two-hour "Grey's Anatomy" premiere. And on CBS, "Big Bang Theory" topped scripted efforts with an 8.6 and the night's strongest performance in adults 18-49. That, combined with a strong start for "Person of Interest" helped CBS score the biggest overall audience of the night, averaging 13.6 million viewers and a 8.4 rating/13 share among households in primetime.
