WHITNEY “A Decent Proposal” Review

WHITNEY “A Decent Proposal” Season 1 Episode 4 – Are we ever going to get an episode of Whitneywhere Whitney and Alex aren’t having some great contest of wills? No? All right then. In this week’s episode, “A Decent Proposal,” they each try to out-romance the other to prove that they like romance when they really don’t. Or something like that.

Honestly, I spent most of the episode waiting for Whitney’s friends to come back on the screen. They make the show for me. That’s not a good thing, though, that the title character is the one I would get rid of if I could.

So, this week Lily is pondering marriage to Neal, but she wonders if she’ll miss experiencing a big romantic moment if she proposes to him instead of the other way around. Short answer? Yes. I realize that I might get blasted by an angry feminist or two for this, but women want to be proposed to…it’s just something that’s never really going to change no matter how equal the sexes become. There are exceptions to the rule, of course, but in most cases, chicks want the bended knee, the flowers, the speech and the ring. Read More...
