LAW AND ORDER: SVU “Missing Pieces” Review

LAW AND ORDER: SVU "Missing Pieces" Season 13 Episode 5 – Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe "Missing Pieces," this week’s Law and Order: SVU, might be the first Halloween themed episode in the show’s very long run. The detectives celebrated the holiday first by going door to door to make sure sex offenders weren’t giving out candy and then by searching for a missing infant. Icelebrate with Jello shots, but to each their own.

When a young couple from Buffalo come into the city for a Halloween parade, their car and the baby inside of it are stolen while the mother makes a diaper run. But as in most SVU cases, all is not how it seems.

First the car is located, then the baby’s car set, toys and clothes, and the couple’s story starts to unravel. The detectives learn that the boyfriend had a history of domestic violence, so automatically they assume the child was killed long before their arrival in NYC.
