'The Big Bang Theory': Jim Parsons talks about Sheldon's relationship with Amy


As fans of "The Big Bang Theory" know, Dr. Sheldon Cooper is more than a little awkward around women. And he's certainly never one to express feelings about them...until now.On Thursday (Nov. 16), Sheldon goes into a jealous fit after finding out his "girlfriend" Amy (Mayim Bialik) is on a date with Stuart (Kevin Sussman), the lowly comic book store employee. Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon on the CBS comedy, was as surprised as anyone that his character displays this emotion."It's funny that he even felt jealous," Parsons says. "It's a very rare emotion for him to have in regard to other people. He's felt biting and b****y about scientific matters, but about the attentions of another human being, he doesn't really care."It's been a long road for the quasi-relationship between the two geniuses.
