Last night's 'X Factor' (Wed./Thurs., 8PM ET on Fox) elimination show proved shocking for all the wrong reasons; while Stacy Francis had given two lackluster performances over the past couple of weeks, it was Astro's petulant behavior that stirred up controversy. Despite being chided for his attitude by the judges, Astro was spared to sing another week, while 42-year-old Francis was sent home.
Today, Francis appeared on 'Good Day New York' (weekdays, 9AM ET on Fox) to discuss what's next for her career -- and far from shedding the mascara-streaked tears we've come to expect from the singer, Francis seemed poised and confident.
"I had some people approach me last night immediately after the show," she admitted, when asked about her next move. "I'm hoping America will still support me even though I'm not on the show."
