'Chuck' lets it all hang out for Zachary Levi's third directorial effort

Zachary Levi directed Friday's (Dec. 9) episode of "Chuck," marking his third time behind the camera on the series. And for at least part of the episode, he did both his directing and acting jobs without any pants on.The episode, "Chuck vs. the Hack-Off," has Chuck (Levi) and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) infiltrating a cult in search of the creator of a nasty computer virus (guest star Eric Lange of "Lost"). Upon arrival, they discover that the commune's members aren't that into wearing clothes -- and when they do, their taste runs to very short tunics."It's very hippie-dippy on the set of 'Chuck' -- everyone's free-flowing," Strahovski said with a smile as Zap2it observed filming of the episode in September.
