Russell Simmons boycotts Lowe's, buys out ads for TLC's 'All-American Muslim'


No celebrity has been more outspoken about Lowe's pulling its ads from the TLC reality series "All-American Muslim" than Russell Simmons, who is encouraging a boycott of the company for its actions.Lowe'syanked its commercials after the Florida Family Association launched a campaign against the show because it only depicts ordinary Muslim families and no terrorist extremists -- which is frankly the most ridiculous thing we've heard in a while, since people with a basic grasp of the English language should know that the word "extremist" implies a small, minority of a population in the first place.The hip-hop magnate has vocally decried the company's decision on his Twitter account, writing, "Dear @Lowes -- u made a grave mistake by caving into hatred & bigotry.
