SAG Awards snubs: 'Homeland,' 'Parks and Rec,' Ryan Gosling left out


Our reaction to reading the list of nominees for the 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards Wednesday morning (Dec. 14) went something like this:"Huh.""OK ...""Really?""Wait -- what? Where are 'Homeland' and 'Parks and Rec' and Margo Martindale and Ryan Gosling and, seriously, what the heck?"(OK, it was actually something a little stronger than "heck," but the last two letters are the same.)The two snubs on the TV side of the ledger that are hardest to process are those for "Parks and Recreation" and "Homeland." We'll grant that the TV categories are a little harder to crack, since SAG doesn't bother with categories for supporting actors, but it's hard to believe there was no room for Claire Danes, Amy Poehler, Damian Lewis or Nick Offerman their respective categories. It's even tought to believe neither ensemble got a nod, considering that "Parks and Rec" was arguably the most consistently funny comedy on television for all of 2011 and...
