'The Firm' Gets Modest Start on Global Television


TORONTO – NBC’S The Firm got off to a soft start Sunday night on Global Television north of the border, pulling in 1.1 million total viewers for the two-hour debut.

The legal thriller managed to beat a new episode of CTV'sDesperate Housewives at 9pm and Pan Am at 10 p.m. because the two competing shows aired out of simulcast.

The Firm, a TV adaptation of the John Grisham novel and Paramount movie from Canadian indie Entertainment One, will now move to the competitive 10 p.m. slot on Thursday nights. Read More...
