'How I Met Your Mother': Casting the mother will be 'very tough,' creators say


We've been hearing about the Mother on "How I Met Your Mother" for about 6 1/2 years, but we haven't actually seen much of her beyond a glimpse of her heel and a yellow umbrella.So whenever the show does introduce her, she'll come with a pretty hefty set of expectations -- which won't make the casting process especially easy, co-creator Carter Bays says."It's very tough. There is one school of thought where you want her to turn around and she's Jennifer Aniston because it has to be a huge star," Bays said Wednesday (Jan. 11) at the TV critics' winter press tour.
