'The Office' Plays The Quiet Game

"The Office" (Thursdays, 9 p.m. EST on NBC) continues to find fun and unique ways to spotlight how mundane office life can be by showing ways the gang finds to fill their day. This week's opening scene had them playing a game to see how long the entire office could go without saying a word. Their record isn't very long, but with Kevin and his candy bars, it's practically a losing proposition.

The episode itself was split in two, with one featuring Dwight's impromptu trip to Florida to lobby for a management position with a very reluctant Robert California. The main story followed the rest of the office to Oscar's trivia night competition, in an attempt to win enough money to buy enough paper to meet their quarterly projections.
