Lana Del Ray bombs on 'Saturday Night Live' debut

"Saturday Night Live" makes calculated risks when it comes to choosing its musical guests. Most of the time, we're rewarded with some pretty amazing -- and sometimes groundbreaking performances. Not so Saturday (Jan. 14) when Internet singing sensation Lana Del Ray made her debut on the show.After an encouraging intro from guest host Daniel Radcliffe, Del Ray shakily launched into her song "Video Games." She looked lovely in a floor-length ivory gown, but her discomfort was apparent. Del Ray shuffled from foot to foot, occassionally rubbing her hip and thigh in what we assume was an attempt at performing. But it was her singing that was an utter fail. Unlike her well-done YouTube rendition of the song, she mumbled into the microphone and rushed through the words as her backing band looked on in horror.The Twitterverse reaction was swift and not at all kind.
