Golden Globes 2012: 'Homeland' EPs Reveal Plans for Second Season


Homeland executive producers Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa talked plans for the Showtime drama's sophomore season after collecting the Golden Globe for best drama.

"Don't expect next season to start right when this one left off," Gansa revealed backstage, noting that the series will jump ahead but declining to provide more details. While the exec producers are still creating the arcs for the Showtime terrorism series, the central themes will also include a greater focus on Carrie (Claire Danes) and Brody’s (Damian Lewis) relationship, which will be "front and center" next season.
