Body of Proof “Sympathy for the Devil” Review

"Sympathy for the Devil" might just be my favorite episode of Body of Proof so far, and not just becausethey based it entirely on the Casey Anthony trial, or even because they spoofed Nancy Grace. It pretty much boils down to Marcia Gay Harden, who is always, always fabulous.

Or it might have been that the story felt real, in particular Ethan’s reaction to the victim. Yes, he messed up, but it hurt to see him raked over the coals. We’ve all been there. And in the end, he was right. I admired Megan for respecting the victim as a person, but I sided with Ethan’s more Biblical sense of justice.

After a young girl was acquitted (by Megan’s mother, in a Hollywood twist) of murdering her son, she was found dead. The entire city wanted her gone, but in the end, it was her own mother who killed her after realizing the girl not only did kill her son, but was trying to get pregnant with another child.
