TV ratings: 'The Voice' gets a Super Bowl bump, 'Smash' opens well and NBC wins Monday


Fast National ratings for Monday, Feb. 6, 2012The time-period premiere of "The Voice" Monday night got a good post-Super Bowl bump, recording its biggest audience ever for a regularly scheduled episode. The lead-in also helped the premiere of "Smash" win its time period at 10 p.m., giving NBC its first non-Olympics sweep of a Monday night in more than three years.Elsewhere, FOX's "Alcatraz" took a hit in the face of the heavier competition, and "Two and a Half Men" and "Mike & Molly" were also somewhat below average for CBS. "The Bachelor" was steady for ABC, but "Castle" was down from its last original episode.NBC averaged 15.6 million viewers and a 9.1 rating/14 share in households in primetime, beating second-place CBS (10.8 million, 6.7/10) by close to 5 million viewers.
