Yeah,right.. Cause living with one leg is just so much easier.I bet 90% of people would rather cope with pain than amputate a part of their body.

amputating the leg would be rather stupid since there is no guarantee, that after the amputation he wont develope any kind of panthom pain! actually there is quite a chance that he could get panthom pain and what is won then? any amputee in pain with a serious vicodin addiction...plus i think we all know that the limping leg of house represents so much more than just a simple injured bodypart

Amputating the leg would not remove the pain unless he were to confine himself to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. If he were to use a fake leg, there would still be pain, no matter how properly it was fit.
