Good God, Y'all

Anyone else thinks War was defeated too easily? Don't get me wrong, I really liked this episode, it's just that it's War. Other semi-regular demons were harder to kill such as Meg and Alistair. I had imagined the horsemen like above regular demons, they are kinda like Satan's very own Michael, aren't they? I took like 5 minutes between they realizing it was the ring he used to make them hallucinate for them to actually defeat him. I don't know, maybe is just me.

I hope defeating death will take more than an episode and a knife.

What do you think?

ps. Who was that who left with Sam? he kinda looked like Bobby.

Yeah I don't think that was death gone, just temporarily removed or something. Great episode, so much better than the last one. And I don't think it was Bobby, i think Sam just got a lift somewhere cause he doesn't have a car anymore.

I agree with you in part, it reminded me too much of Buffy, where they run around uselessly all episode then save the day in the remaining few seconds by always destroying the gem or talisman...it really needed something much more seeing as War is the big bad :(
Maybe he will be back later...though I wouldn't count on it.

War was not defeated..I think. He must have been temporarily suppressed.

I think he'll come back for his ring. Then it'll be interesting.

1. The didn't actually defeat War. Even if they had destroyed his Human form (which they can't) War is still around. The guy was just the personification of War.
2. War isn't a demon at all. In fact the 4 horsemen are sent from Heaven above, not Hell below, so no they are not Satan's very own Michael.
3. There are seven seals opened from Heaven, by Christ himself, that are sent down upon the earth. The first 4 are the four horsemen, and their job is kind of to purge the earth. Like a modern day flood, gruesome, bloody, and corpse filled purge. They pave the way for the final battle to take place between Heaven and Hell, and the remaining people must pick a side on which to fight. And then comes salvation.
IMO i think that was just an introduction to War. He will be back no doubt, and most likely with some of his brothers to help him reek havoc. It should be a great season!!!! I'm really excited
