'American Idol' recap: Hollywood Week finally ends

"American Idol" producers really should just change the name of Hollywood Week to Let's All Go to the Hospital. It's time for the groups to perform their numbers that they toiled over all night long. In case you have forgotten, this is totally grueling and possibly the most stressful thing you could ask a person to go through. They're strangers! They had to like, work together into the night! They're not eating and drinking properly! And boo, they're tired!The judges select individuals from the groups to either move forward in the competition or go home, based on their group performance and their past performances. Others are sent home immediately. Some of the groups do a great job, including the poorly-named Groove Sauce (Reed Grimm, Nick Boddington, Creighton Fraker, Aaron Marcellus, and Jen Hirsh), who managed to avoid the "illness" striking other teams and throw out some fantastic harmonies.
