Spartacus: Vengeance “Sacramentum” Review

“Sacramentum” kicked off with the usual Sparty Party kick in the teeth, as Agron (Dan Feuerriegel) and his men conducted a daring rescue of some of Agron’s people at the port of Anapolis in the midst of a hellacious downpour.

This scene was a cool introduction to Saxa (an impressive Ellen Hollman) as well as the towering Sedullus—played by none other than Conan freaking Stevens, the motherfarming Mountain That Rides (Game of Thrones reference, y’all). Good to see him with more than just “Sword!” to scream. The fight to free Agron’s people from the ship’s hold was nice, swift, and bloody. Read More...
