Jon Snow quickly became a fan favorite character during the first season of Game of Thrones and that's not likely to change in the upcoming second season. He may be far removed from the action surrounding the Iron Throne, but he's definitely not forgotten.
"This season, Jon is kind of coming to terms with his father, with his death, and he's trying not to think about his brother too much. " Kit Harington (Snow) teases. Now that he's a member of the Watch up at The Wall, Jon must leave his former life behind and dedicate himself to being a Night's Watchman.
Jon and his fellow Watchman will be venturing behind The Wall in season 2 of Game of Thrones to try and find and kill the wildlings before they can become a threat. At this point, reports are coming in that the wildlings are banding together in order to attack the realm, so Jon and the other men are determined to prevent that from happening. With Mormont leading the men and acting as Jon's surrogate father, the men may have a chance of protecting Westeros from the wildlings.
