David Letterman, Craig Ferguson sign contract extensions, will stay on CBS through 2014


There's good news for fans of CBS late night. David Letterman and Craig Ferguson have both signed contract extensions and will be on the network through 2014.In a statement, CBS Entertainment head Nina Tassler says, "David Letterman is a late night legend with an iconic show and Craig Ferguson continues to evolve the genre in exciting and innovative ways. These new agreements deliver ongoing high-quality entertainment for our audience and continued strength and stability for CBS in late night."Letterman began his "Late Show" run on CBS in August 1993. During his nearly 20 years with the network, he's won nine Emmys, including six for "Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Program."
