This week’s opening sequence of The Simpsons may be my favorite of all time and yes, this includes the amazing Game of Thrones-inspired opening. I understand Homer’s passion for his sofa. I was strangely intrigued by the pregnant sofa and nothing was better than seeing it work the pole. Loved it! I also liked the nod to Futurama at the end of the show.
A funny thing happened on the way home from the elf movie where Homer ditched Milhouse and Bart . . .
Jimbo charged Bart with the important task of serving as a non-threatening, non-humiliating chaperone to his girlfriend, Shauna, who wanted to see “one of those Jennifer Aniston movies where she rolls her eyes on the poster.” She opted for this over a movie about being tortured in a crawl space that, according to Jimbo, would have prepared her for the moment – when not if – she found herself in a crawl space waiting to be tortured.
