does anyone know why they discontinued invasion?it was such a great show and use to look forward to it every week.

It was discontinued due to the writers strike. During the strike, no re-runs were aired so many people lost interest. By the time they were ready to due season 2, a few of the lead actors (William Fitchner and Eddie Ciabrian) had already signed on to do other things.
